My daughter has curly hair which is hard to brush through so I purchased this to help with that problem. I was very impressed with the product. It comes in a handy shape that fits in the palm of your hand and it has different length bristles so the hair doesn't get caught up in them. I was able to brush through without the usual tangles and knots getting caught on the brush. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with curly or even just thick hair as it really does what it advertises to do.
