ah... skincare review / eczema / organic natural

This company came up on a Google search for natural skincare that is free from parabens so I was delighted when the owner Andrea Hutchins very kindly offered to send me some samples to see how we got on. She even included a product particularly for young skin for my daughter to test.

Gentle facial lotion for young skin

This is the one that my daughter tried out and she absolutely loved it.

I tend to find the lotions that are for sensitive skin don't have any scent at all but this one had a subtle natural scent of to it which we found very pleasant.

My daughter has very sensitive skin and so I have to be very careful with anything she uses but she had no reaction or itchiness so I would definitely recommend this product.

Co-Q10 Daily Cleansing Polish

I had heard a little about co-q10 before but I had never used anything with it in. What's great about this product is that after using it my skin felt properly cleansed but it was gentle and didn't leave me with red marks or itchiness.

Caffeine Night Cream

I think if I had to pick a favourite of the products I received I think it would be this one. It is absolutely packed with vitamins and minerals.

An interesting fact that I learnt from the website was that one of the ingredients named creatine is an organic acid that occurs naturally in the body to supply energy to cells. Natural creatine levels fall as we age, so this moisturiser contains creatine in order for the skin to make a better barrier, repair damage, and produce natural collagen.

Pro-age night serum

This felt so nice to put on my skin because it had a calming feel to it. It was not oily or greasy so it was pleasant to sleep with it on my face.

Pro-age eye cream

I use this once in the morning and once at night. I was particularly excited about this product as with three young children the dark circles under the eye are starting to show and I already knew arnica oil is one of the natural ingredients to use to combat this. My eyes are so sensitive so I can't use anything with chemicals on my eye area so this was perfect for me as it contains only natural ingredients.

 Honey face scrub
This product is perfect for my skin because my skin gets very oily and greasy. You only need to do it once a week to get rid of dead skin cells so this will last quite a while. It contains pumice stone so no microbeads which is better for the environment.

Elderberry moisturiser

The packaging describes this as a skin booster and this is the perfect way to describe it because it really does give your skin a boost. I don't usually use a moisturiser because my skin can get really greasy but this left my skin feeling soft and supple and absorbed really well into the skin.
